Position Info:
Accord Architecture is accepting resumes for an Associate Architect for our Central Iowa Office in Ames, IA. Accord has an enjoyable office environment. We work closely with owners and other team members as we strive for creative, responsible solutions. As a member of our team, you will get to put your experience to work by designing a wide variety of projects which include new buildings, additions, and renovations. Our firm specializes in delivering high quality architectural services across diverse project categories such as medical, industrial, commercial, and residential. Candidates with a professional architectural degree who are motivated and have a strong working knowledge of Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Enscape and/or Lumion, and Microsoft Office will move to the top of our list.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and excel at working independently on multiple projects. If you are enthusiastic, organized, creative, and ready to make a difference then you are the candidate for us.
Candidates will have the following qualifications:
Architecture graduate with 2+ years of professional experience
Proficiency in REVIT, Microsoft Office, AUTOCAD, and Adobe Design Suite
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong problem solving skills
Strong organizational skills
Proven experience with multi-tasking
Solid design skills
