Responsibilities
Maintain standards of guest services and consistent positive guest experience as documented by J.D. Power and AAA Ratings
Knowledgeable about all hotel amenities
Attend and participate in Beach and Pool Operation meetings and monthly All Together Get Together
Associate must be able to walk throughout property, have a valid driver’s license, communicate clearly and effectively to our guests, multitask effectively
Responsible for opening and closing procedures of Beach Operations to include set up and break down of beach rental equipment and maintaining positive physical appearance of the beach by removing all debris and keeping areas clean.
Maintain clear communication with associates and guests
Be knowledgeable of Omni's culture
Knowledgeable of other Omni outlets and company events to promote to guests
Work on the beach by providing guest assistance including but not limited to, providing guests with property information, on property directions, providing rentals of Beach rental equipment, escorting guests while providing enthusiastic customer service.
Take reservations for Beach rentals to include Cabanas, Elites, Sun Canopy and beach sets,
To enthusiastically greet and converse with guests
Assist with routine cleaning of the beach and beach equipment (e.g. sweeping, cleaning, emptying trash, picking up towels and trash, organizing and inventory)
Engage guests of all ages in different ways to explore Omni Amelia Island and surrounding areas with a variety of options
Assist in all other aspects of the recreation department as needed
Answer phones with greeting and assist guests with any questions or reservations
Actively participate in the assurance of the safety of all guests
Work holiday special programs as scheduled
Treat everyone with courtesy and respect at all times.
Qualifications
• Valid drivers licenses
• Able to lift and lift up to 50 pounds
• Able to stoop, stand, push, pull and walk or stand for long periods of time
