Description

Procurement and Sourcing:

Collaborate with dairy suppliers to negotiate contracts, ensuring competitive pricing and favorable terms.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with dairy producers to secure a reliable supply of milk.

Evaluate and select vendors based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.

Logistics and Distribution:

Coordinate the scheduling of milk deliveries to dairies, optimizing routes for efficiency.

Monitor and track inventory levels to prevent shortages and excesses.

Ensure timely and accurate delivery of milk to meet production demands.

Financial Analysis and Reporting:

Conduct cost analysis on procurement and logistics operations to identify areas for optimization.

Prepare regular financial reports detailing expenses, forecasting, and budget adherence.

Collaborate with the finance team to develop and implement cost-saving strategies.

Quality Assurance:

Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure the freshness and safety of delivered milk.

Work closely with dairy producers to address any quality issues promptly.

Compliance and Documentation:

Stay abreast of relevant regulations and industry standards.

Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and logistics activities.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.

Proven experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably in the dairy industry.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and leverage data for decision-making.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.

Familiarity with financial reporting and budgeting.
