Description
The employee will perform diversified inspections on the incoming materials. Quality Control Inspectors are required to comply with departmental safety requirements, contribute to the quality improvement process and interface and communicate within the department.
Essential Job Functions
Employee will be responsible for the inspections of all samples
Employee is required to construct an inspection report complied form the inspection that is performed
Employee will make a disposition based on the Major, Minor and critical defect distribution
Employee will be responsible for placing stickers on each pallet and reject repots and instructions as needed
In the performance of the job the employee determines the sampling method, size, and testing requirements from ETB purchasing and Vendors. In the absence of a customer supplied plan and specifications a sample is selected according to American National Standard ANSI/ASQ Z1-4
BASED OUT OF ALLENTOWN LOCATION$15/HOUR+
Requirements
The employee must have the ability to comprehend and carry out reasonable instructions from the Incoming QC Supervisor
To perform this position, the employee must be able to read and write English, do mathematical calculations, and read measuring equipment
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
In the course of performing their job the employee will be required to attend two (2) safety meetings at a frequency of every month. They will follow all safety and GMP requirements of the facility and insure all Personal Protection Equipment is used dependent on the job at all times
This position may require the employee to travel a maximum of 25% between Hayward Laboratories, East Stroudsburg location and TSI in Allentown.
