Amentum has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Planning and Scheduling Supervisor to join their team in Alice Springs, NT - Australia.

** In-depth knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance modules is a must when applying for this position. The Plant Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Supervisor is required to maintain SAP plant maintenance records and train planning and scheduling staff in its functions. ***

The Position

The Planning and Scheduling Supervisor is required to oversee the responsibilities and daily tasks of the SSC Planning and Scheduling team. Leading the team of planners and schedulers, managing current processes and procedures surrounding the planning and scheduling of all operations and maintenance work orders. The Plant Maintenance planning and Scheduling Supervisor will be required to analyze metric data and provide recommendations on efficiencies and improvements to current methods.

SAP Plant maintenance knowledge and experience supervising a planning and scheduling team is essential for this position.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Lead SSC planning and scheduling team managing all day to day activities

  • Manage maintain and create SAP PM plans, task lists, strategies

  • Build effective relationships with customers, superintendents and other internal stakeholders

  • Review and analyze work schedules for completion rates and possible efficiencies and improvements

  • Ensure CMMS data is maintained in an accurate and consistent matter

  • Be flexible and adaptable in approach to completing planning and scheduling objectives

  • Assist with team adherence to policy and procedures for planning and scheduling

  • Provide on the job SAP assistance and general training in SAP plant maintenance activities

  • Ensure compliance with all site environmental health and safety requirements

  • Any other reasonable duties as requested

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential

  • Certificate IV Leadership and Management or equivalent experience

  • Certificate IV Project Management Practice, or equivalent experience

  • Qualifications in a relevant field

Desirable

  • Trade Certification

EXPERIENCE

  • 5 years experience in planning and scheduling role

  • 2 to 4 years experience in a supervisory role

  • Demonstrated experience with SAP and Microsoft Office applications

WORK ENVIRONMENT, PHYSICAL DEMANDS, AND MENTAL DEMANDS

Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 10kgs, kneeling, standing and walking, routinely sitting and constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, and must be able to work under deadlines.
