CDPHP Provider Registry Specialist in Albany, New York

The Provider Registry Specialist (PRS) position supports the development, servicing and improvement of CDPHP’s provider networks. The PRS is responsible for the quality data entry and processing of all provider file maintenance in CDPHP’s operating systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED required. Associates degree preferred.

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in a HMO, Managed Care Organization, Indemnity or health related industry required.

  • Working experience in MS Office Suite and Windows environment is required.

  • Experience with Microsoft Access, MS Excel, and core claims or providers processing systems preferred.

  • Demonstrated time management skills including self-directed multi-task scheduling of projects and routine duties are required.

  • Demonstrated experience in researching, organizing, and filtering large amounts of data to populate complex databases and the ability to handle highly confidential information in a fast paced environment is required.

  • Demonstrated experience in completing large projects independently and accurately through completion with minimum supervision is required.

  • Working knowledge of regulatory requirements that impact the health insurance industry is preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to comprehend and interpret correspondence requests and apply discretion for complex issues using established standards and guidelines and enforcing guidelines is required.

  • Demonstrated ability to apply problem-solving methodology to organizational issues is required.

CDPHP salary ranges are designed to be competitive with room for professional and financial growth. Individual compensation is based on several factors unique to each candidate, such as work experience, qualifications, and skills. In addition to cash compensation, CDPHP employees may be eligible for an incentive payment, a discretionary cash reward based on employee and company performance. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.
