ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company Privacy Senior Analyst in Albany, New York

As a Privacy Senior Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the agency’s ongoing compliance with privacy laws and regulations.

Job Responsibilities

• Identifying potential privacy risks and ensuring all data processing activities comply with applicable laws and regulations.

• Developing and managing privacy-related policies and procedures, including ensuring that they are regularly reviewed and updated as necessary.

• Providing guidance and advice to staff across the organization on privacy issues and how to adhere to policies and procedures.

• Overseeing and conducting internal audits and assessments to ensure compliance with privacy policies and regulatory requirements.

• Staying up-to-date on developments and changes in privacy laws and regulations, and advising on how to maintain compliance.

• Collaborating with internal teams, to ensure effective management of privacy risks.

• Providing recommendations on risk mitigation strategies for privacy issues, including the development of risk management plans.

• Supports the development of integrated system solutions ensuring proprietary/confidential data and systems are protected.

• Involved in the establishment of strict program control processes to ensure mitigation of risks and supports obtaining certification and accreditation of systems.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience.

• 2-4 years of experience in systems security.

Other Job Specific Skills

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, along with a deep understanding of privacy-related laws, regulations, and best practices.

• Experience with auditing and investigations, as well as familiarity with compliance frameworks such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and/or other global privacy regulations, is helpful.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Professional certifications in privacy, such as the Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) certification, are preferred.

Compensation Ranges

Compensation ranges for ASM Research positions vary depending on multiple factors; including but not limited to, location, skill set, level of education, certifications, client requirements, contract-specific affordability, government clearance and investigation level, and years of experience. The compensation displayed for this role is a general guideline based on these factors and is unique to each role. Monetary compensation is one component of ASM's overall compensation and benefits package for employees.
