Robert Half Microsoft Cloud Administrator in Akron, Ohio

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Cloud System Administrator in the manufacturing industry, located in Akron, Ohio. This role involves managing and configuring Microsoft Endpoint Management, Microsoft Defender, and Intune, providing technical expertise and supporting shared service technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the ongoing management and configuration of Microsoft Endpoint Management, Microsoft Defender, and Intune, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure and alignment with security best practices.

• Align Baseline Security and Intune Deployment & Support Processes, including the use of Autopilot to install security software and mandated applications.

• Serve as a subject matter expert on Microsoft Endpoint Management, Microsoft Defender, and Intune technologies, providing guidance on deployment, configuration, and optimization of Microsoft Defender and Intune tools.

• Support and manage shared service technologies, MDM, Data Center, and Cloud Systems Maintenance.

• Ensure enforcement of and compliance with IT policies.

• Support Remote Hands and Vacation and Holiday Coverage, ensuring uninterrupted IT operations.

• Utilize Configuration Management, MDM Technologies, Windows Intune, Windows Defender for efficient operations.

• Implement and manage endpoint solutions.

• Leverage scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation and orchestration of endpoint tasks.

• Analyze security incidents and recommend appropriate remediation actions.

• Maintain an in-depth understanding of app protection, mobile threat defense, device compliance, and setting baseline security requirements. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Cloud System Administration within the manufacturing industry

• Proven expertise in Configuration Management

• Familiarity with MDM Technologies is essential

• Experience with Windows Intune and Windows Defender

• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues

• Strong knowledge of cloud services and cloud infrastructure

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
