IHG Guest Service Agent (Part time) in Adelaide, Australia

To get our guests’ memorable experiences off to an unforgettable start, we’re looking for a Hotel Services Team Member who can make transactions feel seamless, offer thoughtful neighbourhood insights, and anticipate every request to make our guests feel right at home and ignite their curiosity.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

  • A neighbourhood host - know what’s happening in the neighbourhood and the hotel; keeping up to date with events, activations and hotel information

  • Acknowledging IHG One Rewards members and returning guests in person or over the phone

  • Taking, managing, and receiving payments for guest bookings

  • Making the check-in and check-out process feel swift and seamless

  • Providing Porterage and Valet Parking services to guests

  • Flexing your product knowledge of room categories, rates, packages and promotions to demonstrate value to our guests

  • Staying one step ahead of our guests’ needs to anticipate requests and offer tailored recommendations

  • Working closely with the Food & Beverage team taking on ad hoc duties as required

What we need from you:

  • Communication skills - guests will need to come to you with concerns as well as compliments, so you’ll be easy to talk to

  • Your problem-solving skills will turn issues into opportunities so our guests leave with great memories

  • Compliant - valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (SA) and full unrestricted Driving Licence (must be able to drive a manual car)

  • Fluency in the local language - extra language skills would be great, but not essential

  • Flexibility - willing and able to work across all shifts including mornings, nights, weekends and public holidays

  • Must meet the legal requirement to work in Australia without limitations or restrictions
