You are responsible for

Developing, defining and driving the transformation and transition of the Service organization for IGT Devices International. You manage the international technical support team and functions and serve as primary subject matter expert and thought leader in asset management, technical support and help desk activities.

Responsibilities are:

  • Spearhead post-merger programs and represent the service organization during integration

  • Work closely with management, market organizations and other partners to ensure customer expectations are continuously met and provided with a best-in-class service and support model, in accordance with contractual obligations and management expectations

  • Ensure all customer issues are satisfactorily resolved utilizing engineering, manufacturing, and other teams as needed

  • Resolve escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.

  • Ensure collaboration with local Philips Organizations and other field elements; encourages effective collaboration models;

  • Establish and maintain service level and achieve these through tactical decision making, event prioritization and effective field response / resolutions

  • Execute on operational and financial growth initiatives, process improvements and cost control measures to ensure departmental, customer and business needs are met

  • Develops and maintains performance reports on a periodic basis including team/individual productivity and operational metrics, service quality scorecards, and contractual fulfillment

  • Hire, manage, coach and ensure proper training, development, and support for team

  • Establish and maintain technical training quality metrics that ensure training strategy and the curriculum meets the field service needs

  • Maintain awareness of and compliance with Quality Management System, Policies and goals, and adheres to local laws and regulations

  • Plans for acquisition and effective deployment of company assets (demo systems, tools, test equipment, etc.)

The business also offers a suite of peripheral therapeutic devices. This is part of Philip’s industry leading solutions to help clinicians to decide, guide, treat and confirm the right therapy for each patient in real-time during image-guided therapies (IGT).

As Service Manager Operations, you will report into the Head of Operations, IGT Devices International.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • (Technical) Master degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience in managing a multi–functional, multi-location team

  • Experience in transforming teams in a complex international and/or decentralized operational set up and be able to translate strategy into concrete execution

  • Dedicated personality who flourishes when working within a hectic & dynamic environment;

  • Ability to deal with demanding stakeholders and proven ability to lead and inspire an organization;

  • Solid knowledge and understanding of the Medical Device industry is a big advantage;

  • In-depth knowledge of computer and automation applications (i.e.: Microsoft Office, SAP, Salesforce, ServiceMax) ;

  • Experienced in cross-border settings and managing remote teams;
