Applied Materials Customer Engineer III - C3 in Xi'an, China
Perform task independently, with minimum guidance and direction.
Candidate should have or develops understanding of R2R substrates, R2R Metrology and R2R Coating technologies under vacuum environment.
Provides customer support through on-site installation, as well as overseeing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems
Addresses and solves customer problems and issues as well as performs onsite maintenance and upgrades on the set of complex equipment and systems.
Checks out and approves operational quality of system equipment.
Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the system.
Serves as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects. Interprets customers’ needs and clarifies if the responsibility for problem resolution falls to sales personnel, customer support reps, or engineers.
When necessary, works closely with customer to optimize tool performance to meet customer process and integration requirements.
Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
This job may include any aspect of field support, and is not limited to system hardware and software, PCs, and networking/wireless networking. Management will supervise field operations personnel and/or site managers on day-to-day operations as well as setting the service delivery strategy with product groups and sales.

Education: Bachelor's Degree (Mechanical / Engineering); Experience: Minimum 2 years Language Spoken: English / Mandarin, Written: English/ Mandarin, Electrical / Mechanical Experience. Able to read & understand mechanical and Electrical drawings.
