Description We are looking for a great Full stack Java Developer who is proficient with Java and related enterprise frontend and backend technologies. Your primary focus will be on developing backend and frontend components for our custom ecommerce and logistics platform. You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important. The Full Stack Web Developer will have an opportunity to develop technical skills in three diverse areas – retail, delivery operations and marketing technology.

Responsibilities:

Developing new features for custom ecommerce and logistics platform

Building reusable components and libraries for future use

Translating business requirements and designs into high quality code

Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browser

Review code and collaborate on pull requests from your team members

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt existing systems to fast-changing requirements

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

High-energy individual who cares deeply about what they are working on  

Education and Qualifications:

Must have

Five plus (5+) plus years’ experience on web application design and development

API design and development of RESTful Services

Solid core Java and J2EE

Web fundamentals like HTML, JavaScript/CSS, SEO, and accessibility

Practical Linux/Solaris knowledge and shell scripting

Experience with modern tools for CI and build automation

Experience with Spring, JPA, JMS and relational databases

A knack for benchmarking and optimization

Familiarity with code versioning tools GIT

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt existing systems to fast-changing requirements

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

High-energy individual who cares deeply about what they are working on

Nice to have

Strong experience in E-Commerce and high transaction-processing environment

Knowledge of Oracle 12c or later, SQL, PL/SQL, database design and query optimization

JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS, React, or Ember etc., or JS-based build tools like Grunt, Gulp, and Bower

CSS frameworks - Foundation, Bootstrap, Sass/LESS

System administration (F5 load balancer, firewalls, Akamai)

Experience with PCI compliance and modern security standards
