Responsibilities: 1. As the first point of contact for members, identify and render the best service possible to all members including the ability to interact with other departments within the organization to 2. Promptly and accurately assists members at the counter, drive-up, phone or via mail correspondence with all financial transactions, including troubleshooting as necessary, while keeping information in the strictest confidence 3. Identify opportunities to strengthen the member relationship through quality account deposits, loan referrals and/or credit applications and further promote credit union products and services to members 4. On a daily basis, balance the cash drawer with no variations 5. Take initiative for your personal development and stay informed of all credit union products 6. Identify and listen to member issues and refer to the proper person/area 7. Effectively use system contacts to convey information and problem solve 8. Accurately open memberships and upsell appropriate accounts to effectively build relationships and achieve goals 9. Identify and render the best service possible to all members including the ability to interact with other departments within the organization to answer questions 10. Develop working knowledge of loan products and programs along with the ability to take loan requests and applications for members 11. In order to meet monthly sales goals; open new memberships including checking accounts and loan applications and provide appropriate follow-up; cross-sell Credit Union products and services 12. Develops and conducts auditing procedures to evaluate skills and knowledge levels of MSR's for purposes of identifying training needs; conducts review sessions with MSR's as needed 13. Responsible for the opening and the closing of the branch, ensuring safety and security at all times 14. Provide back-up assistance to Member Service Supervisor and/or Branch Manager and assist with ensuring adequate staffing 15. Provide leadership to colleagues with systems overrides and leading opening and closing procedures of branches 16.
