Job Description:

We are really proud of our Apprenticeship programmes, offering opportunities across many functions. Our Apprentices make up a vital part of our team and are given real responsibility along with support and coaching throughout the apprenticeship.

As a Sage Apprentice, you will have an exciting induction event, soft skill training throughout the year dedicated to apprentices, take part in Sage Foundation days to support our charities and even have a party at the end of the scheme to celebrate all of your amazing achievements.

The role of the PR Apprentice is to support the Segment Communications team through its internal and external activity to raise awareness of Sage with new audiences and amongst the business community. This varied role will work with the segment teams to support the execution of communications activity to an excellent standard and in a timely fashion - using a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel, Access, etc., to produce correspondence and documents and maintain presentations, records, spreadsheets and databases.

You’ll meet apprentices across the business and get involved in some exciting team building activities. You’ll learn about our range of products and be part of a working group to generate new ideas to build your confidence. You’ll also spend time with your Qualification Assessor, so you know what is expected of you in your role.

During the first 6 months of the learning process post training, you will be assigned a mentor. We’ll also support you further so you can learn from experienced professionals ‘on the job’ and receive dedicated support to help you develop your knowledge and succeed. You’ll remain in your apprentice training group throughout this period which will give you the opportunity to make friends and build on your experience together. Key Responsibilities:

• Writing and sharing content such as blog posts, press room content. and intranet updates

• Arranging and attending meetings, taking minutes and keeping notes

• Arranging both in-house and external events

• Raising reqs and managing purchase orders

• Supporting with newsletters

• supporting internal campaigns such as liaising with other office locations, booking communications channels, liaising with procurement and sourcing promotional items

• Sourcing case studies and stats

• Supporting survey creation

To be eligible for this role you should have 5 GCSEs at grade A-C including English and Maths, or equivalent.

  4. Attend Assessment Centre (15th April 2021)
