PPD Digital Communications Intern-Undergraduate in Wilmington, North Carolina

This position reports to a Digital Content associate manager and interfaces with the strategic sourcing team, operations procurement, and clinical stakeholders.

The Digital Content Intern will gain exposure to the following areas:

  • Content management

  • Social media strategies and growth

  • Digital analytics

  • General corporate communications

  • CRO and Life Sciences industry

Specific Responsibilities include:

  • Review/edit digital content for proper grammar, AP Style and voice

  • Analyzing social media/digital metrics

  • Organizing/executing social media campaigns

  • Other related duties as assigned

Skills the intern will learn:

  • Stakeholder management

  • Strategic planning process

  • Category management

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Analytic and creative thinking

  • Mix of experience in writing, editing and social media

  • Strong relationship management skills

  • Working knowledge of Photoshop
