Oxygen Service Company Inc Sales Representative in Willlmar, Minnesota

Sales Representatives are responsible for supporting the company s sales goals through professional sales techniques and good customer service, maintaining quality relations with existing accounts, and providing sales and marketing coverage. They are responsible for the sale of industrial specialty gases, welding supplies and other material to targeted industries. This position is required to work two plus Saturdays per year. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Communicate and cultivate the Core Values of Oxygen Service Company internally and externally Sell welding equipment, materials, and supplies to customers using technical knowledge, advising, and trouble-shooting problems Develop maximum sales potential out of assigned territory through competitive sales techniques and knowledge of the company products and services as well as the competitive strengths/weaknesses Provide technical expertise with customers and department personnel as needed Work with Purchasing Department to maintain appropriate inventory levels communicating current and future needs Work with Purchasing Department to reduce dead inventory levels Responsible for managing customer accounts to include orders, DSO, and disputes as they arise Maintain target list making cold calls to potential and current customers Responsible for price auditing and growing profit margin for customers through contracts and ERP Software Perform asset/cylinder tracking audits as found necessary or requested by customers Attend and participate in biweekly L-10 meetings and top of the week calls Responsible for creating quotes, maintaining customer files, and account coordination and maintenance Maintain CRM and/or scorecard metrics to increase market share Stay abreast of market conditions regarding products, product updates, service offerings, and new technologies through available resources Provide training to customers and their employees. May include product demonstrations and presentations Follow and execute the Track Selling Process utilizing the Value Proposition Tool
