Summary You will serve as a Supervisory Financial Management Analyst in the Naval Audit Service of Department of Navy. Responsibilities You will serve as the senior liaison for budget, accounting, or financial management policy and procedures within the organization. You will direct and/or perform continuing program execution review, analysis and appraisal of the major operating and support programs within the organization. You will prepare briefs for senior managers on program execution and provide recommendations to correct program variances or problem areas. You will provide interpretive and analytical advice on financial transactions and program execution. You will prepare or review responses to reviews or audits that involve financial management policy and procedure. You will assign work to subordinates based on employee's capabilities, priorities and difficulty, evaluate employee performance and develop performance standards. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience analyzing budget and/or financial national level and exceptional large and complete programs. Experience developing, recommending, and implementing budgetary/financial policies. Experience interpreting, assessing, and projecting potential impact of new/revised Congressional legislation. Experience developing and rendering authoritative interpretations of executive order and OMB guidance.
