Qualifications

To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the experience qualifications for the grade at which you are requesting consideration. To qualify for a GS-14, based on experience, you must have at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13, which must include: Experience developing and implementing agency-wide policies, planning and procedures for emergency management and intelligence. Experience interpreting and implementing statutory and regulatory requirements for emergency management and intelligence. Experience working within Federal continuity of operations and national response programs and requirements. Experience developing and presenting national-level emergency coordination and security guidance to high-ranking officials. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: Interpersonal Skills Communication Skills Emergency Preparedness, Response and Recovery Emergency Operations Planning This is an exciting opportunity for a career with the Federal Transit Administration.
