As a Golf Sales Events Executive you will have to perform general office duties to support Sales & Marketing (e.g., filing, sending emails, typing, faxing, copying). Prepare sales-related documents throughout the sales process (e.g., proposals, contracts, or banquet event orders). You will also be expected to promote awareness of brand image internally and externally and gather materials and assemble information packages (e.g., brochures, promotional materials). A Golf Sales Event Executive will use sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty to Marriott. Enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify information (e.g., commissions, leads, third parties) in software involved in the sales process. A Golf Sales Event Executive will be expected to answer guest questions about property facilities/services (e.g., hours of operation, rates and room types, packages, promotions, entertainment, restaurants, Golf events) and serve as the point of contact for clients and communicate with them by phone and email to respond to questions and requests. You will have to take bookings for Golf days as well as Golf dinners and accommodate any special requests whilst answering general golf specific booking queries.
Clean and maintain all areas through the Golf Sales and Events office. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications. Support with general enquires regarding the hotel grounds and facilities as well as any Golf Sales and Events related specific queries.
