Fair-Rite Products Corp. is a local manufacturing company. We manufacture ferrite cores for the electronic industry. We have been in business since 1952. Our Headquarters are located in Wallkill, New York.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Determine item order quantities and frequency; utilizing MRP and prepare purchase orders• Maintain purchased part parameters (forecast/safety stock/lead-times/minimum buys)• Work with Quality, Engineering and Sales to resolve supplier quality issues• Maintain inventory to support on-time customer shipments and negotiate prices/end-time/specifications with suppliers• Research and develop new suppliers as required• Insure Fair-Rite and customer requirements are passed to suppliers and are met

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree in applicable field (Bachelor’s degree preferred)• 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with prior purchasing, materials/logistics experience• Working knowledge of material planning principles• Prior experience with ERP software• Knowledge of CMS or EPICOR is a plus• Must have working knowledge of material planning principles• Must be computer literate with ability operate Microsoft office applications• Must have excellent communication skills, verbal and written
