As a Client Delivery Leader - Automobile Industry you will be accountable for leading the line of business for the successful development and execution of transformational programs of work. Using your solutions expertise and experiences, you will lead a capabilities team dedicated to the success of our customers. This seasoned team of professional services will be accountable to you across the lifecycle to transform our customers business and work within a trillion-dollar addressable market.
Expected Business Outcomes:
The Client Delivery Leader (CDL) is first and foremost a relationship role, establishing trusted, long-term relationships with the customer C-Suite and helping those customer leaders craft business strategy and execute against it. The CDP is a recognized expert in their field with a long track record of executing against the business decisions that they make. Developing and nurturing C-Suite relationships, providing those customers with industry expertise, making them successful in the marketplace, and building a durable trust for Microsoft with persistent and flawless execution rigor are the primary responsibilities of the CDP.
To drive successful execution and be accountable to the customer, the CDP is responsible for providing executive sponsorship within Microsoft. This includes direct executive oversight of the Business Development, Delivery, and Technical Solutioning capabilities engaged with the account, and building a culture focused on business outcomes and customer product realization. Maintaining close relationships with these teams, understanding their strengths, and leveraging them for the customers behalf is critical for the CDP. The CDP will need to work across Microsoft organizational boundaries with Customer Success, Account Teams, Specialist Sales Teams, Industry Teams, Engineering and Leader Teams, and across the Microsoft Partner (GSI/ISV) delivery landscape to provide alignment with the customers long-term business success and ensure that Microsoft and its partners are delivering against a high bar of quality, performance and value for the customer.
Specific responsibilities may include:
Drive outcome-based client value through digital transformation, innovation and industry thought leadership.
Leverage industry / functional expertise and relationships to capture thought leadership within an account(s) to shape client strategy and drive business outcomes.
Co-create with the client, articulate transformation and drive innovation.
Bring together and orchestrate the power of MFST ecosystem (product teams, sales, services, etc.) to effectively drive impact.
Maintaining a high profile in their industry of expertise, participating in industry events and forums, publishing, and nurturing thought leadership.
Aligning Microsoft and Partner resources across organizational boundaries to flawlessly execute against customer business priorities.
Build durable, trust-based relationships.
Trusted advisor with the client C-suite through an in-depth understanding of the client and their industry.
Partner with Microsoft executive team to expand key relationships.
Sustainable growth of the account and development / execution of long-term strategies.
Build multi-year vision and account plan in alignment with customer business needs.
Manage long-term financials of the account, including funnel development, revenue and high impact investments.
Help originate deals and drive innovative deal construct and solutioning to grow business.
Leading execution rigor with a high bar for quality and outcomes across a range of delivery capabilities (business development, delivery technical solutioning, and business analysis).
Leadership and People development.
Leading direct and matrixed teams of professional services professionals, providing direct performance feedback, and mentoring future leaders.
Providing direction and leadership to Microsoft teams on successful client engagement strategies and scalable solutions.

The ideal candidate should have:
Extensive Industry expertise with existing executive relationships and a history of influencing and shaping industry trends and C-Suite decision making.
Extensive experience as an operational veteran that has executed against transformation strategies.
Extensive people leadership experience; inspiring and fostering a culture of customer centricity, attracting, developing, and retaining deep industry, business and technology expertise.
Extensive management consulting experience, influencing client C-Suite decision making and driving business outcomes.
History of aligning client strategy and business objectives with your firm’s assets and capabilities.
Strong management, communication, execution skills; a track record of owning a business area and exceeding results, establishing a strong voice to drive transformational change across organizational boundaries.
Extensive experience leading teams in a complex, matrixed environment, creating clarity, generating energy, delivering results.
Experience running a disciplined customer and business review process with cross-functional teams, identifying and prioritizing blockers, and problem solving across organizational boundaries.
*This position may require 40 % travel depending on customers’ assignments and candidate’s location. We are flexible in terms of location once you are assigned to one of our major Microsoft offices and have easy access to a major airport.
