Army Installation Management Command Hotel Desk Clerk NF-01 in Waianae, Hawaii
Summary This position is located at Pililaau Army Recreation Center, Waianae, Hawaii (Island of Oahu). This position is eligible for night differential as applicable. Responsibilities Makes reservations for incoming guests based on room availability and assists clientele in the completion of required forms and registration cards. Answers questions pertaining to rules and regulations governing the assignment and use quarters; issues room keys. Provides statement of non-availability when applicable, and answers billing questions and concerns. Computes charges for guests checking out, receives payments and room keys; renders receipts; accounts for and secures cash at end of shift. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide at the level necessary to complete required reports and use a computer for word-processing or data entry. Possess good verbal communication and customer service skills. One-year hotel front desk experience is preferred. Resume MUST clearly reflect the knowledge and experience listed under the minimum qualifications criteria above. Highly Preferred: Possess 2-3 years of hotel or lodging front desk clerk experience. Experience using lodging systems (i.e. Recreational Lodging System INFOR) Familiar with Army MWR and/or DOD MWR. To be evaluated as a highly preferred candidate, your resume MUST clearly reflect the knowledge and experience listed under the minimum qualifications AND highly preferred criteria above. Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials This is a pay-banded position. Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600.
