Tri-County Health Care Registered Nurse - Med Surg in Wadena, Minnesota
Astera Health currently has a Full-Time Inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) opening at the Wadena campus. Inpatient Nursing RN's primary responsibilities include providing direct patient care for our inpatient unit and are considered vital in our workflow processes as they directly care for our patients.
Schedule/Hours Available:
Full-Time: 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts, including every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays; available for 6-week day/6-week night rotation schedule

Some responsibilities of the Inpatient RN include, but are not limited to the following:
Uses and documents the nursing process to provide individualized patient-focused care from admission to discharge
Coordinates the nursing plan of care with the medical plan of care in the development and implementation of the Patient Care Plan
Assists the physician with rounds, physical examinations and procedures
Maintains updated age-specific competencies for infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients
Performs patient care activities to provide for the physical, social, psychological and spiritual needs of the patient/family
Safely administers treatments and medications
Education and experience required:
Current licensure as Registered Nurse (RN) in Minnesota
Maintain active BLS Certification
