Public Buildings Service Supervisory Program Manager in United States

Summary The closing date of this announcement has been extended until 05/13/2024. As a Supervisory Program Manager, you will provide oversight and administrative support functions for the Facilities Management Division. Location of position: GSA, Public Buildings Service, Facilities Management Division. This position may be filled in any of the duty locations listed on this Vacancy Announcement. We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed. Responsibilities Plans, organizes, directs and coordinates regional programs for energy and sustainability. Makes program decisions that consider overall regional objectives through the development and execution of management plans for program implementation. Directs coordination through subordinate staff, to develop, implement and ensure the effectiveness of new energy and sustainability management programs. Analyzes data from different sources and works with individuals across branches and divisions to maximize the impact of technology on building and vendor performance. Provides, or directs consultation and education services in the interest of reducing energy and water consumption as well as preserving natural resources This position has job functions that must be executed within specific geographic locations. The official duty station is a federal facility, leased space, or an alternative worksite within the specified geographic area. If you are selected for this position you will be expected to report to the duty station listed on this announcement within 45 days. At that time, you may be eligible to request to telework one or more days a pay period depending upon the terms of the agency’s telework policy. Undergo and pass a background investigation (Tier 2 investigation level). Serve a one year supervisory or managerial probationary period, if required May be required to participate in the Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP), which includes attending meetings and planning activities; and carrying out mission-critical work at a designated location other than your primary work site (which may be outside of your commuting area). For a brief video on creating a Federal resume, click here. The GS-14 salary range starts at $122,198 per year. Your salary will be dependent upon the duty location for which you are selected. To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience using data analysis in the development of program plan improvement strategies; coordinating with officials to ensure timely completion of program deliverables; and leading subordinates through the execution of strategic goals related to major facilities management activities and/or programs. This experience must include knowledge of Energy & Sustainability programs demonstrated through: 1. experience with energy and water consumption analysis; or 2. experience in the identification and /or implementation of energy projects; or 3. experience performing a variety of analytical and technical duties in support of energy and sustainability programs.
