With minimal supervision, the Senior Warehouse Lead manages a crew of warehouse personnel, manages customer relations, and is responsible for all aspects of operations of the warehouse location, including production, efficiencies, and employee development. This position fulfils the role of the On-Site Manager in the managers absence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Communicate expectations, goals daily, weekly, and monthly to the employees on their shift in order for the site to meet Relogistics performance standards, while providing leadership and guidance inspiring positive behavior changes.
Partner with the On-Site Manager to promote a safe working environment and ensure safety standards are met
Partner with On-Site manager to ensure the customer's expectations of the highest level of quality standards and service are achieved
Communicate with direct customer contacts and develop working relationships with key contacts
Recruit, coach and train all employees so they model the values and culture of the company
Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production goals
Conduct safety and shift start-up meetings with employees
Complete all production paperwork and data entry with accuracy using online data entry system
Communicate directly with On-Site Manager regarding all employee issues
Load and unload trailers move pallets, materials on pallets or in crates around the facility
Stack pallets or materials in the correct manner, following inventory control processes
Audit outbound loads to ensure loads are secure
Ensure that all daily equipment checks on all Industrial power equipment are being performed accurately
Maintain a clean & safe working environment that meets Relogistics standards
Assist with forklift driver duties, as needed. This includes operating a forklift for supplying and retrieving pallets or materials to/from different areas within the warehouse, making accurate decisions regarding the movement of pallets or materials to maximize the efficiency of the location, as well as tracking these movements in a timely/legible manner on proper Relogistics forms.
Work shifts not assigned to the On-Site Manager and fulfil the position as primary back up to the On-Site Manager

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or GED required.
Working in a fast-paced environment that would include managing employees, safety programs
3+ years applicable experience, preferably in retail, manufacturing, supply chain/logistics, or distribution environments.
1+ years in a supervisory role.
Retail/service industry experience is ideal
Desire and ability to provide excellent customer service to all levels of the organization as well as to visitors and customers.
General knowledge of federal, state, and local laws governing HR practices.
Proficient in use of MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) required
Expected to be comfortable with technology
Experience in small, start-up organizations helpful
Must be able to speak, read, and write in English fluently. Spanish is a plus in many locations.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Excellent oral and written communication skills needed
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Forklift certifications required
Must possess a valid drivers license to allow for travel to various company locations, if required by the company

Forklift operator is required to sit for long periods of time
The noise level in the work environment is dependent on location
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, distance vision and color vision.
Must have a good sense of balance & good eye-hand-foot coordination
May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs.
