RedHat Senior Product Marketing Manager in United States

Job summary

The Red Hat Marketing team is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and carrying out the messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategy for Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). You'll also develop marketing collateral and sales tools that will be used by Red Hat's Sales team and partners. As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will work cross-functionally and globally with numerous teams, including Product Management, Technical Marketing, Partner Management, Field Marketing, Channel Marketing, Sales, and Services. We'll need you to be able to understand customer’s needs and develop compelling messaging, as you will spend time in front of customers and partners. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product management teams to ensure marketing plans align with directions and support product roadmap and releases

  • Create concise and compelling core product messaging that embodies key product attributes, including value proposition, positioning, and differentiation

  • Create effective marketing assets and content, including whitepapers, presentations, case studies, solution briefs, web content, data sheets, and sales kits that can be used globally

  • Create and maintain internal product marketing newsletter

  • Develop and carry out social media plan and related activities

  • Build and manage asset repository for Platform and Solutions related content, and provide insights, including broader analytics, to business owners

  • Develop and deliver enablement and training activities for Sales, Presales, and Professional Services teams and partners

Required skills

  • 2+ years of software industry experience, preferably within an area of infrastructure software, e.g. virtualization, cloud, or systems management

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related area

  • Record of success in a fast-paced technical environment

  • Ability to develop proof points around turning messaging and positioning into high-value assets

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills

  • Ability to work in an influence-driven, cross-functional environment
