Job Description

Works as a part of the ETS Problem Management team. This team member is responsible for implementing, configuring, supporting, updating and managing our standardized enterprise wide ETS Problem Management Process. This process will include both a Proactive and Re-active approach to problem management.

Responsibilities:

  • Continually scan and data-mine for potential problems and incident trends.

  • Create, assign, and track all problem investigation tickets.

  • Ensure problem investigation findings are thoroughly documented in the problem record and that known error records are created when appropriate.

  • Ensure the documentation and communication of the ETS Problem Management policies, procedures and work instructions are published and available to ensure correct, timely and cost-effective use by Conduent IT personnel and our Conduent business colleagues.

  • Act as Team Leader or Depute of the Problem Management team

Skills/Competencies:

  • Strong team building and team leadership experience in the IT plan, build, run operations environments

  • Developed communication and diplomacy skills with a strong ability to persuade, influence and effectively embrace client and stakeholder relationships

  • Requires in-depth knowledge and experience in the Problem Management Process

  • Strong interpersonal coaching and mentoring experience

  • Demonstrable experience participating and leading organizational culture change initiatives

  • Knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM suite

  • Effective collaboration skills with technical and business colleagues.

  • Advanced communication (oral and written) skills; the ability to listen effectively, react appropriately to feedback and construct an effective working environment

  • Ability to adapt and respond rapidly to changing priorities and demands

  • Logical thinker, completely welcoming new challenges

  • Ability to resolve issues of contention and conflict

  • Demonstrate the ability to teach and assess communication, collaboration and team work skills

  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance

  • May perform in project leadership role

  • Team player – good at building bridges across the organizations and working with multiple service providers
