What you will do:
As our Sr. Instructional Design Associate, you will sustain, design and develop end user learning experiences - classroom, virtual, e-learning and on-the-job - to support both external customers and internal employees. You will collaborate closely with Marketing, Customer Excellence, Clinical and Project teams to design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training materials. You will also be responsible for creating eLearning modules, instructor-led training materials, and supplemental educational resources to help end users understand and utilize the basic functionality of our products.
Collaboration: Assist peers with training needs analyses to identify gaps and opportunities to enhance end user learning experience.
Instructional design: Apply the ADDIE learning model when developing learning objectives, outlines, activities and knowledge checks for educational content. Under minimal supervision, develop engaging, eLearning content, instructor-led training materials, and other supplemental educational resources tailored for end users.
Transfer of knowledge: Under minimal supervision, conduct transfer of knowledge (TOI) sessions with internal facilitators and stakeholders when new education materials are developed and/or existing materials have major updates.
Project management: Assist with instructional design projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines.
Inventory: Under minimal supervision, keep detailed records of all course offerings, ensuring all materials are documented, version-controlled, adhere to brand standards, and easily accessible through LMS and/or document repository tools.
Product: Understand the Acute Care solution lifecycle and basic product features/functionality.
Tools: Be proficient with eLearning development tools (ex: Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate), video editing software (ex: Camtasia), and Learning Management Systems. Use these tools to develop engaging, interactive learning experiences.
Innovation: Stay current with industry trends and best practices in instructional design and educational technology to continuously improve training offerings.
What you need:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree from accredited university required; relevant concentration preferred
Experience: 2+ years’ experience in instructional design or a related field, preferably within a corporate or educational environment.
1+ year of experience with developing content using eLearning development tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate), Learning Management Systems (LMS), and video editing software (e.g., Camtasia).
2+ years of experience evaluating program effectiveness to make data-driven decisions.
Knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, Bloom’s Taxonomy).
1+ year of technical content course creation is needed for this role.
Preferred:
Certification in instructional design related field preferred
Experience creating content for any health care related field is a plus.
$69,100 - $139,600 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
