Cedars-Sinai Respiratory Therapist II- Night Shift in United States

Summary of Essential Job Duties:

Performs all Respiratory Therapy Duties including critical care.

Educational Requirements:

Graduate of an approved school of Respiratory Therapy with an Associate of Science degree required

License/Certification Requirements:

California RCP license required

Registered Respiratory Therapist required

Current BCLS card from the American Heart Association required


Previous experience in Respiratory Ward Therapy and Critical Care

Physical Demands:

Must be able to perform 1 & 2 man CPR

Must be able to lift and carry 25 lbs

Must be able to move an H-size gas cylinder-and-cart over hospital floor surfaces as well as departmental life support systems over hospital floors.

Must be able to physically roll a 200 lb horizontally positioned patient

Must possess auditory and visual capabilities for responding to cardio-pulmonary monitoring system alarms (e.g., apnea, pulse oximeter, cardiac, and vital signs monitors and alarms)

Must possess mathematic skills necessary to the clinical functions of the job

Oral and written communication skills sufficient for understanding and being understood by members of the Health Care Team
