Spinvi DevSecOps Engineer in United States

Core4ce is hiring a DevSecOps Engineer to deliver containerization engineering, virtualization engineering, cloud engineering, systems engineering, software engineering, system administration, configuration management, cybersecurity, training curriculum development, technical support, test and evaluation, lifecycle logistics, and sustainment for a large DoD program.

Responsibilites:

  • Engineering new container services

  • Sustain existing container orchestration systems

  • Integrating new services into the container ecosystem

  • Support system architecture design and implementation efforts

  • Manage container ingress and egress configurations

  • Managing accounts and network rights

  • Managing systems resources including performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverability

  • Implementing security procedures and tools

  • Developing and documenting systems administration standard operating procedures

  • Resolving significant hardware/software interface and interoperability problems

  • Ensuring systems availability, functionality, integrity, and efficiency; maintaining systems configuration

  • Managing the installation and integration of system fixes, updates, and enhancements

  • Ensuring the rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices

Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years of hands on experience with a Kubernetes platform in a production environment performing the installation, testing, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Kubernetes-based systems.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of hands on experience as a Linux Administrator performing the installation, testing, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Linux based systems.

  • Experience working in a DevOps or DevSecOps environment with an Agile methodology.

  • Experience with user account management and associated DoD security practices.

  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or equivalent work experience in Kubernetes systems administration.

Required Skills:

  • Installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of container based systems, particularly with products such as RedHat Openshift, Rancher, D2iQ, VMWare Tanzu or vanilla Kubernetes.

  • Experience maintaining compliance of container based systems using STIGS, CIS or organizational-based security policy

  • Understanding of essential network services such as DNS, SMTP, NTP, and IPtables

  • Day to day support operations maintaining container workloads and deployment pipelines

  • Day to day support operations providing configuration updates to meet user requirements on all container systems and services

  • Understanding of Linux based operating systems and Linux based networking

  • Knowledge of cloud services and components such as virtual private clouds, security groups, and native load balancers

Highly Desired Skills (considered a plus):

  • Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform or Helm

  • Experience in the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CI/CD pipelines, using technologies such as Jenkins, Gitlab CI, CircleCI, TravisCI

  • Experience with VMware virtual environments.

  • Experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure

Certifications:

  • 8570 IAT Level II Certification

Clearance:

  • Candidate must have a current Secret clearance

Education:

  • Minimum: Possess a high school diploma or GED;

  • Preferred: BS degree in Engineering, Physical Science or Computer Science.
