Purpose of Role
This role is responsible for supporting the delivery of the end to end Penfolds demand planning function for Penfolds International covering all channels as defined under International. The purpose of the role is to process the rolling forecast on inventory allocation on operational management level.
Analysing demand forecast accuracy against regional targets, and adjusting for major decisions driven regular Commercial Review meetings or other IBP forums
Manage specified customer & wholesaler sales and stock level to execute financial decisions.
Ensure smooth communication within all key functional stakeholders, team members include:
Allocations of SKUs, KOLs
Support strategy, marketing and sales teams to develop bottom up 1-5 year modelling that feed budgeting, allocation and Global Volume Planning (GVP) processes
Identifying all risks and opportunities to ultimately ensure adequate future supply and optimal financial outcomes
Measurement and delivery of process improvements to improve MAPE & Bias metrics
Ensure continuous improvements to avoid supply chain inefficiencies
Drive best practice IBP principles
3-5 years working experience
Great use of Microsoft Office all software.
ERP, data warehouse, reporting tool system knowledge
Experience in supply / finance / category management
FMCG or similar demand planning experience
Ability to undertake high pressure during work.
