What you’ll achieve
Cyber Security Engineers have responsibility for providing thought leadership across security technology areas and aligning with both the business and cybersecurity objectives. Thecandidatewill be expected to contribute to initiatives across Cybersecurity, and work as a member of a larger team that focuses on priority driven items which change based on need.
Supervisesmaintenance ofSplunkapplication anditsenvironment
Work acrossthe various global IT teams and business units and coordinates resources to effectively performmaintenance andresponse tasks.
Takes responsibility for successful execution ofupgrades, enhancements and requests.
Presents incident response report and lessons learned to management.
Identify and recommend process improvements.
Provide security control enhancement recommendations based onregulatory and best practice procedures
Communicate and build effective relationships with people at all levels.
Responsible to manage and drive to closure all Audit issues to the Incident Response and Management process.
Attend internal and vendortraining asand when required.
Communicates and educate information security risks to end-users.
Design and coordinate cohesiveplans to enhance and upgrade the suitability of theSIEMenvironment
Reviews,analysesand resolves difficult and complex information securityproblems.
Develops new approaches and techniques for use by others.

Database technologies, skills and practices
ITIL Service Management
Tertiary qualifications in Information Systems and specialization in Information Security.
SANS GIAC-GMON (Continuous Monitoring and Security Operations) is a plus
CISSP, CEH, CHFI,CISA, CISM
