This position is responsible for the design and development of performance-based learning solutions at Greenway Health. This includes conducting needs analysis to identify performance goals, designing and developing learning solutions in a variety of delivery modes (e.g., virtual classrooms, eLearning, performance support, etc.), using application simulation and courseware development tools (e.g., Articulate360, Storyline, Rise) to create engaging content.
You are the ideal candidate if you are good at figuring out performance problems and consulting with internal partners on appropriate solutions. You excel at making what is complex simple and easy to follow. Your learning solutions are based on what learners need to do on the job and are aligned to our business metrics. You have a portfolio of learning samples you have designed and created.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Consult with internal partners, leaders, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to discover learning and performance needs (needs analysis) and manage project deliverables
Design, develop, and produce quality learning programs using agile and performance-based instructional design methods (action mapping, SAM, ADDIE) to produce quality learning solutions and programs for Greenway Health
Consult and collaborate with internal team partners to enable on-the-job learning and performance support opportunities
Create software how-to videos, eLearning (simulations, branching scenarios, assessments, etc.), practice scenarios, coaching rubrics, job aids, online performance support, micro-learning, etc.
Evaluate learning solutions; track and report relevant curriculum development and performance metrics
Skills & Other Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design or industry certification
Minimum Qualifications
2-4 years of experience in instructional design, training, or curriculum development in a corporate setting using formal methodologies and learning strategies
Must show portfolio of work samples
Skills/Knowledge
Extensive knowledge of and practical experience with applying formal instructional design and curriculum development methodologies to corporate learning programs
Moderate to extensive knowledge of Articulate 360, Storyline, Rise, and Camtasia preferred
Highly motivated professional with strategic planning and project management capabilities
Requires organizational agility (able to identify and work with many groups to achieve results), the ability to lead and drive change, and a proven ability to maneuver through unstructured problems and create the necessary structure to drive results
Proven ability to work and achieve in a team environment
Strong writing, design, and synthesis skills
Effective interpersonal communication and collaboration skills
Proficiency with MS Office tools and experience using learning development applications
Basic graphic design and video production skills including screencasting
A flare for creativity and innovation
