IBM Client Technical Solutioner - IBM CIC in France

Introduction

Positions available in the following locations: Lille, Nice

The IBM Services Center France engagement team is looking for technical leaders to design end-to-end solutions for our clients in order to meet the challenges in terms of setting up HybridCloud infrastructure, containerization of their applications and deployment of Open Source.

Based in Lille, Paris or Nice, these technical leaders, with at least 3 years of experience in the IT world, are involved in the construction of service proposals intended for companies of all sizes and in all economic sectors.

Your Role and Responsibilities

The Client Technical Solutioner (CTS) leads an international team of multidisciplinary experts who produce an integrated IT infrastructure solution. It is based on proven and recognized methodologies to design the various solutions and implement methods of piloting and carrying out projects (eg: AGILE)

The Client Technical Solutioner (CTS) works closely with sales teams to understand customer requirements, to establish a winning strategy and to offer the best solution for our customers.

He is one of the client's main interlocutors in the engagement process. He devotes 40% to 70% of his activity to collaborating with the Customer and his teams, to design architecture and solutions close to the customer

The CTS certifies the technical feasibility of the solution and the capacity of the teams IBM to deliver the services offered. The different areas that make up the solution are among others: Public & Private CLOUD, Managed Services, OpenSource Technologies (RedHat), Network, Software, Continuity of Services.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

The CTS must have :

  • A more than 5 years’ experience in managing relationships with clients and other

  • Interlocutors engaged in proposals

  • The sense of listening and the ability to analyze customer needs.

  • Understanding and defining organizational I/T strategies.

  • Definition and implementation of I/T operational models.

  • Mastery of Transition and Transformation services.

  • Analysis and preparation of budgets.

  • Team management.

  • Oral and written communication as well as the ability to negotiate.

at least two mandatory skills as an expert among those listed below

  • AZURE, AWS, Google, other cloud

  • OpenSource, Linux, Red Hat, VMWare

  • Cloud Management (CloudForms), OpenShift, OpenStack, Kubernetes

  • DevOps,

  • SAP, and other DB

  • Knowledge of end-to-end Delivery management will be a plus.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Landing zone in the Cloud (implementation, advice)

  • Mainframe (z-Series and/or i-Series)

  • Network skills, firewall, security

  • ITIL process knowledge (service Now, backups, other)

  • Experience in automation programming (Teraform, Python, PHP, other)
