IBM Telecom Network Business Development Leader in Brazil

Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Business development for the entire IBM telco network cloud domain portfolio which includes: physical hardware (compute, network, storage and radio technology),

  • IBM's portfolio of hybrid cloud software.

  • IBM services and eco-system of third party VNF/CNF vendors.

You will work with multiple teams within IBM:

  • Support communications service provider account teams in sales pursuits

  • Collaborate with OpenShift, Hybrid Cloud and GTS (newco in future) on developing telco network cloud solutions for clients

  • Interface with the telco network cloud offer team to understand IBM's telco network cloud portolio of services

  • Collaborate with other CoC team members in sales pursuits and knowledge sharing

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Must have skills:

  • Deep knowledge of one or more network domains including network core, RAN, O-RAN, edge, orchestration, and assurance.

  • Familiar with relevant industry standards such as 3GPP, ETSI and ORAN

  • 5-10 years of experience working for a Network Equipment Provider (e.g., Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung, Huawei), network services provider (e.g., Altra, WWT) or within the network department of a CSP

  • 5-10 years of experience working with OSS domains such as fault management, performance manangement, inventory management, order management, trouble ticketing, provisioning, activation and workforce management.

  • Must be aware of industry trends within network engineering community. What technologies are being developed or launched? What new vendors are appearing in the market? What is the value proposition of the new vendors?

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Industry certifications such as TMForum certification in eTOM or ETSI certification in ETSI NFV architecture

  • Background in network engineering

  • Experienced in solutioning of network architectures

  • 5-10 years of experience working in a NOC for a tier 1 communications service provider
