Suez-Na Customer Service Officer in Australia

Our local team provides solutions that supply seven million Australians with safe drinking water, divert 1.2 million tonnes of waste from landfill every year, and enable the oil and gas sector to process resources in a sustainable and efficient way.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

To represent SUEZ in a professional and courteous manner always

and to achieve the accurate and timely administration of duties. To maintain good customer relations with customers

and ensure customers are serviced in a timely and efficient manner. To ensure completion of all tasks assigned

in a professional manner, adhering to SUEZ Policies and Procedures.

Key

duties / responsibilities

Initial point of contact for all callers, answer all incoming calls promptly, professionally, and courteously.

Attend to incoming customer queries and re-direct phone calls as required.

Data entry of Service Agreements.

Liaise with operations regarding e.g. Bin Deliveries, non-services, and special customer requests.

Liaising with Territory Managers re: customer queries.

Organising sub-contracting for customers.

Organising add On-Call ring-ins services.

Handling specialist accounts with requests, quotations, organising subcontracting.

Investigating and processing of credits and debits requests.

Ensure filing is kept in order.

Perform other tasks as directed from time to time by department managers.

To develop, foster and maintain a good working relationship with all SUEZ customers and SUEZ employees.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Essential

requirements

Ability to use DOS-based software packages, Microsoft Office and have fast and accurate keyboarding skills.

High typing speed 60wpm with 80%+ accuracy

Excellent phone manner.

2-3 years’ experience in a customer service role.

Excellent organisation skills.

Positive attitude and Interpersonal skills.

Experience in invoicing, Credit Notes and Debit Notes.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure work environment with rapidly changing priorities.

Strong numeric skills with the ability to perform calculations quickly and accurately.

Ability to deal with members of the public / Contractors / Customers

Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to deal with conflict.

Be in the possession of acceptable references, performance history and character indications.

Must have reached a satisfactory educational standard, sufficient to complete their duties and tasks.

Strong focus on attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment.

Ability to solve problems.

Any other duties may be allocated from time to time by department managers.

Understanding of the waste industry and of waste types and the administration of waste transport and disposal preferred but not essential.

Experience with Outlook

Previous call centre experience.
