Broadstone Net Lease Senior Financial Data Analyst in Victor, New York

The Senior Financial Data Analyst will support the development of PowerBI data models that optimize BNL’s core financial processes. The role will contribute to and support forecasting, budgeting, and business reporting through dashboard development to assist in decision making across the organization. In this cross-functional role, optimization efforts will be seen across the organization and spread across key department efforts including board and investor presentations. The ideal candidate will have a strong data analytics background and a fundamental understanding of key financial concepts with the ability to translate data into key insights. This position reports to the Director, Corporate Finance & Investor Relations. Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:-Leverage and transform Excel-based financial processes into programs that run in an automated, recurring, maintainable fashion-Gather, analyze, and compile data from multiple sources to develop dashboards that will aid in key decision making across the organization-Support the optimization of scalable financial models, developing comprehensive outputs that track business metrics on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis-Play a central role in expanding and optimizing scalable scenario and sensitivity analysis utilizing SQL, Python, PowerBI, and Excel-Provide integral support on key team deliverables, including annual strategic and operating plans, annual and quarterly budgeting, financial re-projections, and both internal and external business reporting-Support the development of board and investor presentations to facilitate management discussions that articulate the company's financial performance, strategic vision, and operating plan-Contribute to high-impact cross-functional projects and ad-hoc analysis improving organizational efficiency-Executes duties and maintains standards in accordance with company policies and procedures-Additional duties as required-Overtime hours may be required as job duties demandSkills/Qualifications:-Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerBI and DAX-A self-starter able to prioritize and manage multiple assignments, take initiative, and work independently-Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills-Strong team player with demonstrated ability to work cross functionally-Strong organizational skills with an ability to perform under deadline pressure -Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to communicate complex information effectively-Able to work with large amounts of data and detail without losing sight of the big picture-Solid work ethic and a professional, proactive, and positive approach to workEducation/Experience:-Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university required-3-5+ years of relevant financial data analysis experience -Proven quantitative & statistical experience supporting executive-level presentations-Experience with PowerBI, SQL, Python, or REnvironment and Physical Demands:-Professional office environment with routine use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machine; noise level typical of a standard office environment-Prolonged sitting, computer and telephone use, as well as standing, filing, stooping, bending, reaching and lifting, and carrying up to 15 pounds -Ability to travel by plane, train, and automobile and operate a motor vehicleThe above description is not intended to define, in detail, the multitude of tasks that may be assigned, but rather to provide a general sense of the responsibilities and expectations of the position. The base salary range for this role is: $65,000 - $90,000. This range is Broadstone’s good faith estimate of the annual base salary it reasonably expects to pay for the position at the time of this posting. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to the individual’s experience, skillset, relevant education & certifications, job-related knowledge, location, and other relevant factors identified through the recruitment & selection process.The stated salary range does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role, such as performance-based cash bonuses and restricted stock grants.
