Prestige Care Staffing Coordinator - Internal Staffing Pool in Vancouver, Washington

You are known here. In this job, every day you will... 1. Build positive relationships with staffing contacts at buildings and external agencies to effectively partner to fill temporary per diem and contract positions. 2. Manage open shift requests utilizing a scheduling system and coordinate filling requests with pool and agency employees. 3. Provide on call support after hours and on weekends by answering the staffing line and responding to immediate staffing needs. 4. Schedule hotel and travel arrangement for pool and agency employees. Process pool employee mileage reimbursements. 5. Manage daily employee and agency timekeeping. Review time clock entries for accuracy, collect timecard edits and enter edits into system. Audit timecards with schedule to ensure data matches. 6. Maintain pool employees' personnel files and track and maintain pool and agency credentialing requirements to ensure compliance. 7. Assist in recruiting, hiring and onboarding pool employees 8. Assist Staffing Manager in the day to day management of pool employees including scheduling, timekeeping, attendance, and problem solving concerns. Escalate concerns to Staffing Manager as necessary. 9. Participate in planning pool employee events and implement employee recognition and engagement programs for pool employees. Education Experience you need to qualify: * General office and staffing experience highly preferred.* Excellent written and oral communication and motivational skills are essential.* Ability to creatively problem-solve scheduling and employee situations.* Individual must be a team player, well organized, and flexible.* Able to cover on call staffing after hours and on weekends.* Competent in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word and Excel.* Experience with staff development, training and scheduling preferred.* Minimum of one (1) year working in a long-term care or medical setting preferred.
