Candidate must live in Arizona or California and have the ability to travel to a portfolio of assisted living communities in both states.:Position Details:Status: Full-Time/Part-Time/On-Call.and.nbsp;Shift: Day/Evening/NOC.and.nbsp;Schedule: Various.and.nbsp;Working Hours Start: Various.and.nbsp;Working Hours End: VariousPOSITION SUMMARY:Responsible for training and auditing in the Skilled and Assisted Living Communities, working with Central Support to ensure accuracy of financial statements and accounting systems. Promotes the Company s core values of respect, integrity, commitment and trust.ESSETIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.:* Works with Administrators and Executive Directors in the screening of applicants and the hiring of new business office staff. * Develops and implement systems to monitor accounts receivable collections ensuring all collections are being tracked and pursued. Assist in AR Month End Review. * Trains new Business Office Managers and Administrative Assistants and be active as the mentor for the Area Business Office Specialist, Business Office Managers and Administrative Assistants..and.nbsp; * Audits accounting records for accuracy, organization, and compliance with company policies and procedures..and.nbsp; * Responsible for ensuring all accounting functions will be fulfilled at the facility during business office staff vacancies and leaves..and.nbsp; * Works with the Central Support staff developing and implementing accounting changes and systems..and.nbsp; * Assists in development of policies and procedures and ensures execution in the business office. * Assists the Administrator and Executive Directors in ensuring the business office staff is meeting assigned due dates and deadlines Able to communicate effectively, in English, with personnel at all levels of the organization, with residents and their friends and family, and with members of the community. Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
