Position Summary:

Reporting to the VP of Sales, the Sales Development Manager is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of our Sales Development Representatives. A critical function of our sales organization, the Sales Development team is the first point of contact for our inbound and outbound prospects. The Sales Development Manager is responsible for driving success at the top of the sales funnel.You will be expected to deliver results through effective coaching and leadership of the team while providing critical feedback to the revenue organization to assist in the continued development of strategy. Additionally, building a strong relationship with the Marketing team to support common goals is critical. The ideal candidate has strong leadership and sales experience with the ability to motivate your team and consistently exceed key KPIs.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage on a day to day basis the full scope of the SDR team.

  • Implement a solid coaching model that includes: stand ups, 1-1?s, effective meetings and more

  • Partner with the Marketing team to establish action plans that support common KPIs including but not limited to: lead flow, the success of virtual and in person events and more

  • Lead through action to impress on the team company culture, a hunger for success and constant professional growth

  • Hire, train, and coach teams of inbound and outbound SDRs to achieve defined KPIs.

  • Assess the effectiveness of KPIs on an ongoing basis and adjust or develop them as needed to support the sales teams revenue goals.

  • Build on and enhance the current outbound SDR process.

Key/Technical Skills:

  • Proven ability to mentor, coach, and lead individuals.

  • Ability to plan and implement new organizational process and strategy.

  • Affinity for creativity and thinking outside of the box

  • A drive to try logical new approaches to achieving the goals of the Sales Development team

  • Relationship oriented

  • Experience with Salesforce, prospecting tools and other sales technologies

  • Committed to consistently improving themselves and developing professionally

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor?s Degree in business or a related field.

  • 1-3 years of experience as a pipeline generating sales professional.

  • 1-3 years of team management experience.
