This job was posted by https://idahoworks.gov : For more information, please see: https://idahoworks.gov/ada/r/jobs/1377742 Job is located at the Kimberly, Idaho Branch LocationJob Details - Description:Essential Duties and Responsibilities Take applications, analyze information of the customer, recommend appropriate financial products while educating and communicating with customers throughout the process. Recommends loans and products as appropriate. Presentation to loan committee may be required for approval. Exercises independent judgment and discretion in working with customers in regards to loan products. Outlines loan terms and conditions, and keeps the customer informed. Approves loans within specified lending limits and refers loan applications which exceed those limits to their manager, management or loan committee for review. Work with all bank products and refer customers to the retail loan officers, commercial loan officers or deposit staff as deemed appropriate. Reviews loan requests based on the banks policies and procedures. Orders credit reports, reference checks (when applicable) and validate borrower's credit, income, assets and any customer information as required on loan requests. Directs central appraisal ordering department to order appraisals as appropriate. Assists in preparation of loan package, in accordance with the banks standards. Stay abreast of new legislation and regulations that affect the banks consumer lending policies. Makes suggestions to management to update or add to loan terms and conditions on a case-by-case basis. Provide reports on the status of the bank's consumer loans and loan marketing strategies, based on current and past workloads. Handles inquiries from applicants, realtors, other various referral sources, and processing personnel. Resolves customer complaints in a timely and effective manner. Completes all required commission logs and call reports required by management. Follow all rules and guidelines of the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act (SAFE Act) and be registered with the NMLS. Annual renewal of registration is required. To perform all job duties and maintain compliance with all banking acts, laws and regulations applicable to your job function.Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities Consistent attendance at community events to promote the bank is expected.Qualifications Required(Required education may be satisfied by experience and/or working knowledge)A High school diploma or its equivalent and a minimum of one years' experience in mortgage or consumer lending.Physical Requirements and Working ConditionsSitting for extended periods of time, requires close visual acuity and the ability to work and operate computer applications and equipment including copy machine, telephone, scanner or other basic business equipment. Some travel is required for facilitating sales calls and meeting with customers.
