Aerotek Industrial Painter in Tulsa, Oklahoma

Description:

Industrial painter will be responsible for painting oil field equipment that comes in to be refurbished.

This position may have to work some in the Wash Bay but a majority of the time will be in the paint/blast area.

Prepares incoming equipment for disassembly/processing by cleaning equipment in the wash bay.

Prepares materials for paint application by working in blast booth.

Mask and paint material in paint booth.

Stage all material in processing warehouse.

Services the daily needs of the Back shop equipment.

Work is normally performed in a wash, paint, and blast booth environment with occasional out-of-doors as needed. Exposure to atmospheric conditions of extreme heat or cold, moisture, fumes, and gases are frequent. Frequent use of blast suits and disposable coveralls, and Schedules are generally shift work 40 hours a week with required overtime and weekends.
