Raytheon Technologies Sr. Applications Technologist I - CPAS in Tucson, Arizona

Raytheon Technologies Capture and Program Application Services (CPAS) is currently seeking a Sr. Applications Technologist I who will be responsible for support, testing, requirements, and documentation of applications developed and supported by CPAS.

Job Description:

  • Work with customers to help resolve issues

  • Test (functional and integration) of solutions prior to delivery to end users for validation or to production

  • Help resolve test-related issues and questions escalated during the Sprint

  • Document tests and defects in TFS

  • Log defects and re-test defects as necessary

  • Perform regression testing of features from prior phases, as necessary

  • Trace Requirements to test cases or acceptance criteria to ensure full coverage

  • Coordinate with team to document & test non-functional requirements

  • Help with stress tests, load tests, performance tests

  • Participate in Team Meetings (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-Ups, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective and others as needed)

  • Active and contributing member of the Sprint Team

    Required Skills:

  • Minimum 4+ years interface with testing software and running projects

  • Exposure to scrum framework

  • Ability to think critically and troubleshoot problems

  • Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly

  • Works effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Creative and effective problem-solver

    This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.

    Desired Skills:

  • Scrum certification

  • DevOps principles

  • Automated testing software for Web and Client applications

  • Earned Value Management Familiarity/Understanding

  • Experience writing SQL scripts or working with databases

    Required Education :

Bachelors in Engineering, Computer Science, Math or required discipline
