Fiserv Project Coordinator in Trenton, New Jersey

LOCATION: Alpharetta, GA or Berkeley Heights, NJ

What does a great Project Coordinator do?

The Professional Services Team in Digital Solutions is a dynamic group of high-level performers who are leading the industry in developing cutting-edge, custom online and mobile banking solutions. The Project Coordinator will provide support to the project team for client projects and support for the Project Management Office (“PMO”) practice. In partnership with the Project Manager(s), this role is responsible to support PM’s in administrative tasks related to project planning and estimation, status reporting, financial tracking and reporting, issues tracking and reporting, and project related resource management. The Project Coordinator will provide PMO practice support in administration of practice processes and facilitation of practice activities. The Project Coordinator will have responsibility for maintaining Client Dedicated Team administrative information in Fiserv’s internal financial tracking and reporting tools. The Project Coordinator could be involved in the following:

Client Project Support:

  • Establishment of new projects in Clarity

  • Allocation of project resources in Clarity

  • Assist the project manager in identifying and resolving resource allocations and updating assignments in Clarity

  • Arranging project meetings, workshops

  • Creating and distributing meeting notes

  • Assist in tracking project budget and actuals

  • Arrange for invoicing of project actuals with finance

  • Assist in drafting project status reports

Project Management Office support:

  • Facilitate Project Governance Requirements meetings

  • Facilitate Project Phase Gate meetings

  • Administrate Project Alt Phase Gate documentation

  • Facilitate Project Approval Meetings and compliance reporting

  • Facilitate Change Approval Board meetings

  • Coordinates and compiles data in support of PS metric, goal, and organizational reporting

  • Creates and maintains standardized project and process related documentation

  • Assist with routing of Work Orders and Change Orders

Basic Qualifications for Consideration :

Required:

  • Minimum education: High school graduate/GED & 1-3 years’ experience as a Project Coordinator or in project management or bachelor’s degree in a business or IT related field.

Preferred:

  • 2+ years of work experience as a Project Coordinator

  • Knowledge of and demonstrated experience in project management processes and methodologies, as well as, project lifecycle

  • Experience with project management tools including Clarity, PowerBI reports, and MS Project

  • PMI PMP or CAPM certification

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • Strong communication (oral and written) skills

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Project

  • Experience with Teams and SharePoint as a collaboration platform is preferred

  • Experience with Clarity as a work and resource management tool is preferred

  • Organization and time management skills: operates independently with minimal guidance by management, able to manage multiple tasks in parallel, and have the ability to manage shifting priorities, demands and timelines.
