Integer Manufacturing Team Member I -1st shift in Trenton, Georgia

  • Perform several of the tasks and procedures required to move jobs through the department in a timely manner.

  • Assist with maintaining and updating production and material control systems as needed to ensure proper job and material tracking is maintained

  • Complete off-schedule notifications.

  • Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, neat, and organized fashion.

  • Control non-conforming product in accordance with documented procedures and verify timely corrective and preventative action.

  • Protect product during handling and storage in the performance of work.

  • Participate in internal quality audits to verify compliance with documented procedures and specifications, record results and verify audit corrective action.

  • Comply with and reinforce the requirements of the Quality Manual and Standard Operating Procedures, ISO 9002, FDA Quality System Regulations and other customer standards.

  • Follow Occupational Safety and Health regulations, including laser safety practices.

  • Performs job duties with little or no supervision or assistance.

  • Maintain the segregation of conforming vs. non-conforming product.

  • Maintain product identification and traceability.

  • Performs additional duties as required under the direction of the Operations Manager and Production Supervisor.

Environmental Working Conditions:

Employee must comply with all safety policies and safe work procedures established by the company. Job tasks may also involve:

Using personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, goggles, gloves, and other equipment as established in company policies and safe work procedures.

Working with cutting & machining fluids, solvents, lubricants and other hazardous chemicals using appropriate safety controls.

Lifting up to 50 pounds.

Frequent carrying, bending, standing, sitting, and repetitive motion.

Qualifications:

Prior medical device, aerospace, automotive, or regulated manufacturing environment preferred.

Proficiency in the use of measuring and test equipment required.

Prior experience in the use of PC’s and Microsoft Office software applications required.

Certificate(s) of training related to this field of work (medical device industry or quality assurance) desired.

The ability to use various measuring devices including micrometers, laser micrometers, electronic balance, calipers, length measurement scales, and pin gages required.

Ability to effectively communicate with other operators required.

Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with a wide variety of equipment required.

The ability to strictly adhere to Standard Operating Procedures, including all safety, health, and environmental procedures required.

Knowledge of basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, proportions, and fractions required.

Addendum:

Must be able to proficiently perform the skills indicated below for the product families.

Polyimide Value Stream: Proficient in less than four (4) of the following skills:

Long Pull, Table Pull, Auto Pull, Short Pull, Roll Cut, Check Ends

PTFE Value Stream: Proficient in less than four (4) of the following skills:

Long Pull, Table Pull, Flush/Pressure Check, Roll Cut

Expected to work with other Finishing Technicians in a team-oriented atmosphere to effectively meet or exceed expectations for product quality.

Must have developed knowledge of the various process equipment used in the Finishing Area.

Must be able to maintain applicable inventories and databases.
