WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE
Bachelor's degree required and minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience with an emphasis on E-Commerce retail or/and partner account management. Preferably with experience focused on platform and/or multi-brand environments. Experience working in a global business environment preferred but not required
Strategic acumen with proven experience in project/program management of complex initiatives—from ideation to implementation. Flexibility to learn and grow in a fast-moving environment. Ability to multi-task and adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines.
Intrinsically motivated by growing business as a GM muscle: strong qualitative and quantitative data analytical skills founded on consumer & results orientation; knowledge and experience of leveraging variety of online promotions, advertisements and communications; and finance proficiency for revenue, profitability, budget forecasting, tracking and management
Demonstrated knowledge of consumer-facing digital platforms & products. Capability of making sound business decisions and quickly understanding new information and situations
Strong presentation skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills, including results packaging and development of management presentations required
Business level written and verbal communications skills in English and Japanese required. Language requirement (e.g. Fluency in Japanese and English required. Minimum TOEIC 800+.)

Being a part of the Nike Direct Digital Commerce - New Commerce Team is more than just managing and supporting Nike's e-commerce business. It’s about amplifying, scaling and accelerating Nike’s digital commerce business beyond own channel to marketplaces in Japan as a new business. It's about giving the best possible online experience and getting products in front of the consumer when they want it, where they want it and how they want it.
As the New Commerce Manager for ZOZOTOWN marketplace you will play a critical role to serve our customers and grow business working with our partners internally and externally. The ideal candidate will possess extensive digital commerce experience or knowledge including working on owned platform or multi-brand e-commerce environments. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess strong strategic, operational and project management skills and the ability to work within a dynamic and complex matrix organization structure. To be effective you’ll possess a degree of comfort with ambiguity, an ability to simplify the complex and communicate effectively across various levels of the organization. You will be responsible for a critical growth driver of our business and be creative in your approach to our constantly evolving new commerce opportunities.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
Lead new commerce business from business case to execution, inclusive of piloting/test & learn, scaling to drive business. Create business forecast against a set of revenue target within a given marketing budget incorporating business opportunity and risks while considering operational and logistics capacity management through forward planning.
Run the commercial platform’s 365 offense, leading in-season read/react to respond to trends & opportunities with real-time relevance. Manage partners to drive business from promotional planning to execution to reporting. Including (1) traffic growth through online promotions and campaigns, advertisement and marketing communications; (2) Conversion to increase transaction through promotion, product assortment prioritization and experiences including improving consumer journey and creating editorial contents.
Lead, manage, build and present weekly, monthly and seasonal business reporting adjusted to the level of audience (local, regional, strategic partner stakeholders) through data analysis and visualization. Manage and own business intelligence data dashboard including updates, improvement and identifying new data sets in partnership with Digital Analytical teams to improve business performance.
Proactively references qualitative and quantitative business, key cross-functional data and consumer voices to improve consumer experience, assortment of products suited for the marketplace and business performance taking business to the new level
Scopes, prepare, socialize and implement mid to long term business plans with seasonal product assortment and allocations in line with strategic assortment plans, promotional activities against the revenue target and marketing budget available including identifying new business opportunities and capabilities.
Maintains expertise/awareness of industry-leading digital retail practices, inclusive of consumer trends & expectations. Identifies new business opportunities, capabilities and area of improvement and ability to convert from ideas to implementation through analysis, prioritization and securing support from leaderships, key internal cross-functional partners and external partners.
Manages and drives assigned regional, departmental strategic initiatives, projects and KPI’s
