Citigroup SVP / Supply Chain Environmental, Social and Governance Senior Analyst- Resource Management Organization (RMO) in Tampa, Florida

Citi’s Chief Operating Office is comprised of O&T Risk and Control, the Resource Management Organization, Enterprise Resiliency, Global Program Management Office, Chief Information Officer Council Governance, Enterprise Tools & Reporting, and the Chiefs of Staff teams. The Chief Operations Office organization develops and executes Enterprise Operations & Technology strategic and operational plans, as well as provides central coordination of all business office functions.

The Resource Management Organization designs and executes supplier and resource strategies that optimize Citi’s purchasing leverage and labor globally, while creating sustainable practices in the communities where Citi conducts business. We partner to provide strategic sourcing, supplier optimization, and procure-to-pay (P2P) services with diverse suppliers and sustainable practices. We also manage supplier risk, enhance governance of supplier performance and productivity, and optimize Citi’s site resource strategy through standard practices.

Supply Chain Environmental, Social and Governance Senior Analyst-Senior Vice President-Resource Management Organization (RMO)

The Supply Chain (SC) Environmental, Social and Governance Senior Analyst is a senior level position responsible for developing and overseeing environmental, social and corporate governance policies and procedures, as well as reviewing and re-evaluating our Corporate Responsibility Questionnaire (CRQ) process. This individual will work with stakeholders across the firm to ensure that supply chain practices align with industry and internationally recognized best practices, develop an ESG strategy inclusive of data and reporting and ensure organizational oversight which minimizes risk.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage efforts to strengthen the RMO Global Supply Chain Sustainability process, including building enhancements to current processes and reducing manual testing/reporting

  • Identify, assess and reduce supply chain related ESG risks and financial costs

  • Identify risks as identified within the global assessment tool, otherwise known as the Corporate Responsibility Questionnaire (CRQ)

  • Own, lead, and collaborate on projects end-to-end including the development of project milestones, business requirements and global specifications

  • Create and establish guidelines and requirements to meet identified deadlines, address gaps and track dependencies.

  • Analyze Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) metrics and performance tied to global firms

  • Analyze scorecards/performance management tools in an attempt to mitigate exposure (risk/financial/regulatory)

  • Work with Sourcing and other lines of business to contribute to the long term goal of improved selection, evaluation and assessment process of suppliers

  • Implement an annual strategic action plan intended to integrate ESG requirements into the overall risk and compliance framework

  • Work with sourcing managers and suppliers to identify and evaluate environmentally preferable products and services, help to create contractual language and assist in negotiating environmental service agreements where applicable

  • Gather internal and external supply chain benchmark data, analyze and generate internal measurements and communicate progress

  • Work with the internal compliance and third party risk team to develop an auditing and reporting process and checklist designed to help the RMO measure itself on ESG performance.

  • Ensure Citi’s compliance and maintain contact with appropriate external organizations/agencies to strengthen Citi’s position in the marketplace.

Additional Requirements:

  • Analyze Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) metrics and performance tied to global firms

  • Establish and oversee the application of operational risk policies, technology and tools, and governance processes to create lasting solutions for minimizing losses from failed internal processes, inadequate controls, and emerging risks.

  • Assess risks and drive actions to address the root causes that persistently lead to operational risk losses by challenging both historical and proposed practices.

  • Serves as a subject matter expert for all performance issues that surface.

  • Resolve transactional level escalations coming from the vendor or internal partners

  • Monitor goals are met through performance, risk and relationship oversight of our extended supply chain and ensures compliance

Qualifications:

  • Experience or Equivalent: 10 year+ relevant Procurement/Business management experience

  • Project Management experience

  • Background in Supply Chain Management with at least 5 years of Environmental Sciences/Third Party Management and/or Human Rights preferred

  • Outstanding communication and influencing skills through all levels of the organization and with external partners and vendors. Exceptional relationship management skills; must be able to address and resolve conflict while maintaining relationships.

  • Detailed oriented with analytical skills, as the role requires a large amount of data manipulation and presentation.

  • Demonstrated intermediate to excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, especially Excel and PowerPoint

  • Third Party Oversight/Vendor Oversight experience preferred

Critical Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

  • Project Management experience a plus

  • Proven experience in corporate responsibility, responsible sourcing and a clear understanding and interest in ESG performance

  • Working knowledge of federal, state and local laws relative to Diversity and EPA statutes, regulatory compliance and guidelines

  • Ability to interpret, and analyze and report statistical data

  • Create graphic reports and PowerPoint presentations to support sustainable supplier and/or diversity recommendations that drive a call to action.

  • Ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment and organize complex information

  • Experience with tracking systems and maintaining historical data a plus

  • Ability to utilize various internal and external resources as needed to meet internal goals and objectives

  • Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills

  • Excellent time and resource management skills. Ability to research, collect, utilize and analyze relevant information when making decisions

  • Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers.
