Aerotek Lead Quality Control Manager in Tampa, Florida

Aerotek is working with one of their national clients for a Lead Quality Control Manager Opportunity. The QC Manager will be responsible for taking full control CQC plan on project from conception through completion. Person will be responsible for overall management of the CQC plan and having full authority to act in all QC matters.

This opportunity will be on a $600M project at Kings Bay Submarine Base in Kings Bay, GA.

Essential Functions:

  • Capable of coordinating with many Subcontractors

  • Able to plan days, weeks in advance

  • Skillful communicator

  • Able to conduct QCM weekly meeting in a highly professional manner

  • Perform/coordinate inspections

  • Upload and manage QC data

  • Perform submittal review functions

  • Proficient completing required daily documentation


  • Degree preferred in Construction Management or Engineering

  • 7+ years of DOD experience

  • Experience overseeing other QC Managers

  • 3 years’ experience as a QC Manager for projects larger than 20 million

  • Certificate for “Construction Quality Management for Contractors” from USACE

  • 30 Hour OSHA in construction
