WSP is currently initiating a search for a CEI Inspector with relevant industry certification and experience to join our Florida PMCM Team based in Tampa, Florida.

Duties and Responsibilities:

*Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications

*Monitoring on-site construction activities

*Inspecting materials in accordance with client's scope of services (plans, specifications, and special provisions)

*Maintaining detailed accurate records of daily operations and significant events

*Preparing inspection reports

*Possibly participating in the development of job safety practices

*Observing general job safety practices

*Monitoring and inspecting the Work Zone Traffic Control (in accordance with the client's requirements)

*Fulfilling other duties as needed

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

*High School diploma or equivalent

*Minimum of 3 years of roadway inspection experience or other relevant construction inspection experience (or) Engineer Intern with a CivilEngineering Degree

*Valid Drivers License

*Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures

*Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies

*Must successfully complete and pass WSP's Motor Vehicle screening.

Certifications (must have or achieve within 6 months):

*CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level I

*CTQP Final Estimates Level I

*FDOT Intermediate MOT

*CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I

*CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I

*CTQP Pile Driving Inspection

*CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection

*IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector Level I

*Nuclear Radiation Safety

*Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control

*Critical Structures Construction Issues Self-Study
