Aerotek Assembly Line Worker in Tampa, Florida

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assemblers will be working within their own individual stand up work stations utilizing hand and power tools to assemble various mechanical parts of a shallow water anchor.

  • This can include metal pole, nuts, bolts, and pressure hoses.

  • Manually lift pallets or workstations for assembly line / assemblers.

  • Perform quality checks on products and parts.

  • Inspects and measures machined work pieces to verify conformance to specifications.

  • Count and assemble kits for other components.

  • Wrap and box components.

  • Cleans machined parts. i.e. drill table, drill press.

  • Tends machines and equipment other than machine tools.

SHIFT:

1st shift Monday - Friday 7AM-4PM (1 hour lunch)

No weekend work required.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience with assembly of any kind (mechanical or electrical).

  • Previous experience with hand and power tools.

  • Ability to follow instructions and understand basic blue prints.

  • Ability to stand for 8-10 hours per shift (standing all day).

  • Understanding of safety within manufacturing.

  • Mechanical aptitude and a good attitude to learn/cross train.

  • 30-50 lbs lifting.
